Representatives from the Centre for Innovation in Carbon Capture and Storage recently attended the 1st UK Solar to Fuel Symposium at the Chemistry Centre in London.
Oluwafunmilola Ola, Rea Laila, Antoniou Kourounioti and Yolanda Fernandez-Diez participated in a stimulating discussion that addressed the challenge of utilising sunlight to drive the synthesis of molecular fuels. The team presented 2 posters and Oluwafunmilola Ola, one of our PhD student, won the “best poster” prize in the poster competition at the symposium. Her poster featuring research into solar fuel production using metal coated TiO2 based monoliths was judged the best amongst the student’s entries.
