Expertise Summary
Heide Kunzelmann's main research interests lie in Austrian literature and culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries with special emphasis on Austrian post-war literature and Austrian post-war avantgarde literature, surrealism, fantastic literature and literary identity-formation. Her recent research also focuses on theories of multiple authorship, in particular author/reader and author/text relationships in the context of systematic complexity and crosses into the field of comparative literature and intertextuality. Her publications include: Kontinuitäten und Brüche. Österreichs literarischer Wiederaufbau nach 1945 (co-edited with Martin Liebscher and Thomas Eicher; 2006); Posthumer Epitext. Die Bibliothek H.C. Artmann (In: Schuster, M.O. (ed.): Aufbau wozu. Neues zu H.C. Artmann [2010]) and Zuhälter der Wörter. H.C. Artmanns erotische Poetologie. (In: Ruthner, C.;Whitinger, R. (eds.): Contested Passions. Sexuality, Eroticism and Gender in Austrian Literature [2011]). Dr Kunzelmann is Director/Co-Ordinator of the Ingeborg Bachmann Centre at the Institute.
