Biography

I grew up in Belgrade and later graduated in Comparative Literature and Theory of Literature at the University of Belgrade.

I have worked in publishing, in the Department for Education and Young Readers, and as a journalist, covering educational issues. Most of my previously published work has been children's literature.

Before coming to the Univeristy of Nottingham, I taught languages at primary and secondary schools. At Nottingham, I am part of a small team of teachers, teaching Serbian/ Croatian language at undergraduate and postraduate level.
