In 2015 my paper ' The Development of the Slovene Standard Language ' was published by De Gruyter Mouton in the second volume of their two volume work 'Die slavischen Sprachen. Ein internationales Handbuch zu ihrer Struktur, ihrer Geschichte und ihrer Erforschung '. The themes covered are: Origins of the Language, Written Language, Regional Variants , The Enlightenment , The Language Debate , New Slovene , The 20th Century and Independence.
The second publication is the second edition of my grammar ' Slovene: A Comprehensive Grammar' which was published this year by Routledge. It is a revised and considerably enlarged version. In addition to new material and more modern examples of usage in the grammar it also contains new sections on the dialects , regional varieties and the vocabulary.
