Paul McGarr (ACS) awarded British Science Association Media Fellowship

Dr Paul McGarr, Department of American and Canadian Studies, has been awarded a prestigious Media Fellowship by the British Science Association. As part of the  Fellowship, Paul will be seconded to work at the heart of a national media outlet such as the Guardian, the Times, BBC Breakfast or Channel 4, and be mentored by a professional journalis, learning  how the media operates and reports, how to communicate with the media and to engage the wider public with academia through the media.
