Professor Peter Ling delivers talk following publication

Prompted by his article in BBC History magazine "The Fight for Black America" (Christmas 2016), the History staff at Bedford Boys School invited Professor Peter Ling to give a talk to AS and A2 History students on "The Radicalism of Martin Luther King, Jr." on 11 November 2017. Local Historical Association members were also invited. This is the second schools talk prompted by the article which urged readers to appreciate the way in which Black Power and the movement of the late 1960s and 1970s was vital in the continuing struggle for racial equality.
