Dr Paul Smith (French and Francophone Studies) has launched his blog on contemporary French politics at https://www.fifthandahalfrepublic.com/, supported by a grant from the Faculty. Paul has been regularly producing pieces for The Conversation during the French presidential and general elections and his opinion has become “highly sought-after throughout the world”, according to the University’s research media insight report.
