Teaching Summary

Translation skills from and into German, especially for Translation and Linguistic Exchange module developed to encourage strategic approach to translation for native speakers of both languages.

Grammar learning trajectory from Year 1 to Final Year, including support during Year Abroad - convenor of Year 2 core module grammar which focuses on applying principles and grammar in context. E-learning materials on Moodle platform.

20th century prose, especially commentary and close reading skills.
