Pastures New

Two of our Culture, Film and Media staff are leaving for pastures new and we wish them all the best for the future.

Dr Neal Curtis will be taking up a position at the University of Auckland, in New Zealand. We hope he will be able to visit us soon, as Auckland is a U21 University, and perhaps our students on U21 exchange can visit him too. Thank you, Neal, for all your work with Critical Theory and Cultural Studies. You certainly made a difference and we will miss you.

Many congratulations to Dr Zahera Harb who has been promoted and appointed a position at City University, London. Zahera is a leading Middle East journalist, so we are not surprised her talents have been widely recognised across the UK. But we will miss her too, and we hope she will be able to return to Nottingham for short visits in the near future. Thank you Zahera for you invaluable contribution to media studies in the School and good luck at City.
