Women and Independence in Latin America

The event ‘Libertadoras: Un Siglo de Luchas’, organized by the Museo de la Mujer en Buenos Aires and the Women and Independence in Latin America project team, will take place on 16 August at 6 pm. The museum’s ‘Muestra histórica de los siglos XVI a XXI’ will be inaugurated, the project will be presented and later there will be a play, ‘Alicia, Pequeña Caminante’.

The Museo de la Mujer in Buenos Aires, a partner organisation od the ‘Women and Independence in Latin America’ project is presenting an exhibition entitled ‘Mujeres Conquista y Descolonización: Exposición Histórica siglo XVI a XX’ between 16 August and 22 September. The invited artists are Ana Maldonado, Estela Pereda y Valeria Salum. The curators are Graciela Tejero Coni and Diana Coppola.
