Nottingham French Studies
The Department of French and Francophone Studies produces its own in-house journal called Nottingham French Studies, which is published three times a year.

Situation Analysis
The Department of Cultural Studies produces a free on-line journal, called Situation Analysis which is produced by its students. This journal is a forum for Critical Thought & International Current Affairs and it was established in October 2002 to provide a forum for debate regarding the interface between critical theory, world events and international news, and with the aim to serve as a focus for the more extensive and on-going practice of debate and enquiry between a wide range of interested and committed individuals and parties. The journal Situation Analysis brings together articles under specific themes that examine, interrogate and experiment with the interface between critical theory and international current affairs.

Bulletin of Latin American Research
Professor Tony Kapcia, in the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies, is a member of the editorial board of The Bulletin of Latin American Research. This is a journal which publishes original research of current interest on Latin America, the Caribbean, inter-American relations and the Latin American Diaspora from all academic disciplines within the social sciences, history and cultural studies.

Culture, Theory and Critique
Professor Mark Millington, of the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies is the editor of Culture, Theory and Critique, published twice yearly by Routledge.
This is a refereed, interdisciplinary journal for the transformation and development of critical theories in the humanities and social sciences.

French Cultural Studies
Professor Hewitt, from the Department of Cultural Studies, is the main editor of French Cultural Studies, a journal which responds to the important changes that have affected the study of French culture, language and society in all sections of the education system. It provides a forum for the research into all aspects of modern French culture.

Language and History
Dr Nicola McLelland, of the Department of German Studies is editor of the formerly known Bulletin of the Henry Sweet Society for the History of Linguistic Ideas, which aims to promote and encourage the study of the history of all branches of linguistic thought, theoretical and applied, and including non-European traditions.
The Bulletin in now a fully peer-reviewed journal with the title Language and History, published by Maney Publishing
Nottingham Medieval Studies
Dr Nicola McLelland, of the Department of German Studies, is a member of the editorial board of Nottingham Medieval Studies. This is an interdisciplinary journal, founded in 1957, and published annually under the aegis of the Institute for Medieval Studies.
