It’s never too early to start building up your CV so if you will be a second or third year University of Nottingham student in 2012/13 and are looking for some quality work experience in a key sector, the University’s Community Partnership’s Team may have just what you need.
Their Undergraduate Community Internship Programme provides an opportunity for students to work for a day a week between September and December 2012 in a charity, voluntary or community organisation in Nottinghamshire.
Applicants need to be highly motivated, independent, eager to learn, have a genuine interest in a future career in the voluntary and community sector and have concrete skills to offer. These might include IT, business planning, marketing, fundraising, publicity and written communication skills.
In return you’ll be given pre-placement induction and training, paid travelling expenses, be registered for the Nottingham Advantage Award Work Experience module and have fantastic work experience to add to your CV.
