Biography

Behrang Parhizkar (Hani) obtained his bachelor degree in Multimedia Technology Management from Multimedia University, Malaysia, followed by master degree of Information Technology & Multimedia System, Faculty of Information science and technology, University of Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Bangi, Malaysia. Now, he is PhD student and teaching assistant of Faculty of Computer Science, The University of Nottingham.

He is a member of Visual Informatics research group. He is a Head of research center of FICT in Limkokwing University of Creative technology, Malaysia. He is also a member of International Association for Mobile Learning.

He won some International awards such as ITEX Bronze Medal of International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition, Malaysia. Gold Medal of Invention, and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Award for Voice Recognition Browser and Marking System in South Korea. He also won award of RM 12000 for Tap the Nap from Nokia for his mobile application called Herbal Bible. http://store.ovi.com/content/76615

Hani had a TV interview in Astro Awani Channel as a expert in Augmented Reality Technology on 2011. He also had a radio interview in Red FM regarding Mobile Augmented Reality in 2011.

He has published over 30 international conferences and 15 international journals in augmented reality, motion detection technology, mobile learning, face recognition, GPS integrated with AR etc. He also published his first book in Innovation in Information Technology.
