Alumni

The School of Computer Science is keen to maintain a dialogue with our graduates. We encourage our former students to keep us abreast of their career progress and any other exciting activity undertaken since they threw their mortarboards in the air!

In return, through the website, mail-outs and social media, we love to keep our alumni up to date with developments in the department: from the latest on our research to recent events and new facilities.

Whether graduation from the School of Computer Science was last year or twenty years ago, we encourage alumni to become actively involved in the on-going development of an alumni community within the department and the University of Nottingham as a whole.

Alumni Website

The University has an Alumni website where you can log-on and catch up with old friends and receive a Nottingham email address for life. Please use this website to get involved and encourage your friends and class mates to do the same. You can use the alumni webpages to set up a regional network or organise an alumni event to meet up with your graduating class.

Don't be a stranger, get involved!

There's no need for your graduation to be the last time you come back to the School of Computer Science.  Why let graduation-day memories be the last you have at Nottingham?

Besides dropping in to see us, there are a number of ways to get involved. For example, we'd be delighted to welcome you and your employer as part of our Careers in Computing Fair, or if you would like to speak to the next generation of computer scientists, the Second Year Group Open Day!

Even if you can't make it back to the department in body, student profiles are a great way to connect with current students and share your experiences of studying here, your time at Nottingham on the whole and your career progress since graduating.

If you would like get involved or have any other alumni related queries, please feel free to email our Admissions & Communications Officer, Maryam Marchenko
