Extenuating circumstances
NOTE: The Counselling Service may not be willing to provide evidence if a student has no engagement with the Service prior to their claim. Students requesting extenuating circumstances evidence will be required to complete a extenuating circumstances letter request form in advance of an appointment being made. The University's Quality Manual guidance on Extenuating Circumstances (4.1.1) states that Schools may accept evidence provided by the student's personal tutor, Student Support Officer, Examinations' Officer or School Manager.
