Groups and workshops

group

The University Counselling Service runs a number of groups and workshops for students.

Groups  offer an excellent environment in which to learn about yourself, how to relate to others and the assumptions you make about yourself and the world. Groups meet regularly for a number of weeks or months with a small amount of participants, usually between six and 10.

Workshops run for one, two or three sessions and focus on a particular issue or problem. The number of participants will vary between about 10 and 25.

We suggest that students don't do too many workshops each term as the benefits can be reduced if you are trying to tackle too many issues in one go.  Therefore we suggest that you choose only one or two workshops each term.
