Managing Depression

These are two linked workshops in which you can learn about depression and the impact it has on everyday life. It will include an introduction to the cognitive behavioural model of managing depression. We will look at how to lift low mood and challenge and manage negative emotions, thoughts and behaviours.  You are required to attend both sessions.

 

There will be a combination of facilitator input and group discussion. You will discover how to:

  • challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours
  • be more in control of how you are feeling
