The University Counselling Service

Self-help resources

Our self-help resources cover a number of areas from eating disorders to bereavement. We hope that you can find the help and support that you need to support yourself - and if you can't, then you can book a consultation.

We have a small lending library and a number of helpful guides and leaflets that you can access digitally or collect in person. There are some podcasts that you might find helpful, and we have a number of mobile apps and websites that we recommend.

Togetherall provides a safe space for members to engage anonymously with a wider network of people across the world who understand what it's like to struggle with mental health.

Members can share thoughts and feelings, ask questions and access support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Trained mental health workers monitor the site to pick up any problems and to guide users in the right direction for support. There are also creative tools to help express how you are feeling and a wide range of self-guided courses to do at your own pace.

Togetherall is the only digital mental health service registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The University of Nottingham has taken out a membership so it is free to use for all students and staff.
