Honorary Patron

Baron Prescott of Kingston-upon-Hull, Britain's longest-serving Deputy Prime Minister from 1997-2007, was inaugurated as Honorary Patron of the China Policy Institute on 30 March 2010.

Formerly co-Chair of the UK-China Task Force under Tony Blair, Mr John Prescott remains closely involved in UK-China relations and in international climate change negotiations in his role as Rapporteur on Climate Change for the Council of Europe.
