Innovation vouchers

The Business Innovation Voucher Scheme is designed to promote collaborative innovation between The University of Nottingham and UK businesses.

Innovation vouchers, worth up to £5000, can be used toward the costs of projects using the University’s facilities and / or its academic staff.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP)

A KTP is a three way relationship between a business, the University and a post graduate researcher (KTP Associate) who works to transfer knowledge from the University into that organisation.

The University provides cutting-edge research and development, which the KTP Associate can embed in the company, whilst being jointly supervised by the business and a senior academic. On average, organisations that take part in KTPs see their profits increase by £250k per annum.
