Academic dishonesty
There is growing concern in the UK about the rise of academic dishonesty. A study focusing on academic dishonesty in UK psychology departments is an interesting read about the extent to which some students admit to a verity of cheating behaviours. A similar study was carried out on academic dishonesty and MPhil pharmacy students in the UK. In June 2005, Don McCabe in the Centre for Academic Integrity (CAI), surveying 50,000 students on more than 60 campuses, indicated that high levels of cheating and plagiarism in the USA, (up to 70% of student polled,) persist.
