Afrakoma Afriyie-Asante represents UoN at global 3MT competition

The Three Minute Thesis competition (3MT) challenges research students to communicate their projects in just three minutes.

The competition begins at a local level, and Afrakoma won both the Graduate School’s 3MT (held at LINK’17) and the University of Nottinham’s Tri-Campus 3MT competitions.

She will now represent the University in the global round of the competition, which opens doors in terms of collaboration and networking.

Afrakoma’s research may allow us to identify cancer at an early stage of the diagnostic process. Watch her entry.
