The U21 Global Ingenuity Challenge (GIC) is an online competition challenging teams of undergraduate students to propose solutions to real-life issues. Students from all over the world compete to win a US $500 prize and a US $1,800 grant.

Teams are invited to select one of the UN Sustainable Goals and devise a strategy and identify resources to engage a wide cross-section of the student body in developing an appropriate response to the goal.

The challenge must be completed within a two-week window. At the end of the two weeks, your team’s idea must be presented in a three-minute video presentation or pitch, which will form the basis for your entry into the competition.
