On 2 June 2008 we held a workshop for admissions practitioners to discuss ways forward for Entry Profiles in general and the project in particular. An overall presentation explaining the project is here; an informal report based on collated suggestions from workshop sessions is here and a more formal briefing based on the outcomes is here.
We held a follow-up workshop on 12 December 2008 to showcase the demonstrator we had built with UCAS as a direct outcome from the earlier event.
After gathering requirements from a workshop for admissions practitioners in June 2008, we have developed a demonstrator showing how HEIs can take greater control over their Entry Profile data. The overall design was drawn up and used as a basis to develop a technical specification and an overall architecture diagram.
The demonstrator is explained in this presentation used at the workshop in Nottingham on 12 December 2008 and is available at http://research.ucas.com/delia/. An Interim Report has been created and final documentation and links to the source code will be published here shortly.
