EACWE 2013 Celebrating 50 years of wind engineering

We are delighted to announce that the 2013 European and African Conference on Wind Engineering will be held at Robinson College, Cambridge, UK, from July 7-11.

2013 will be a significant year for Wind Engineering, marking the 50th anniversary of the first international conference, held in Teddington, UK. That conference was arguably the birth of Wind Engineering as a discipline and has led to a highly successful series of International and Regional conferences run under the umbrella of the IAWE.

This anniversary will be marked at EACWE 2013 with a special day of keynote lectures tracing the development of the core aspects of Wind Engineering since 1963. These will define a series of themes to be developed through the rest of the conference in sessions that highlight the latest scientific and practical developments.
