In research, the School ranks among the very best in the country, as confirmed in the last UK Research Assessment Exercise in 2008 which ranked Nottingham third on a measure of research power, and fourth on HEfCE research funding. The School is host to six major research centres and a number of research groups, with research interests covering the full range of economics disciplines.
