International students

The School welcomes students from all over the world and has around 60 international students in each year group out of a total of about 250. We have students from over 25 different countries who contribute to making the School a culturally diverse atmosphere in which to study.

International Office

The University’s International Office is well equipped to answer any questions you may have relating to scholarships, visas, travel etc. They also organise a Welcome Week before the start of the autumn term, where international students can come to Nottingham before the UK students arrive, to settle in and meet people. This also includes collection from major airports and coach travel to the University, which makes your arrival a lot easier.

It can be difficult for international applicants to make a visit to Nottingham before deciding to apply. The International Office have agents in many countries, and also send people from the University to lots of places for HE fairs and exhibitions. This is a good chance for you to meet someone from Nottingham and find out more about the University.
