Study abroad

Students taking Economics with French, German, Hispanic Studies and Russian will spend their third year abroad (see courses for further details)

Students on other Economics degrees can apply to spend one semester of their second year studying similar economics modules in the following institutions:

Semester one

• The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
• The National University of Singapore
• The University of New South Wales, Sydney

Semester Two

• The University of Nottingham in Malaysia
• The University of Nottingham in China

This period of study abroad does not extend the length of your degree course. You will be examined in these institutions and your marks will count towards your degree.

Applications for study abroad placements will be invited during your first year and places are based primarily on your marks in your first year exams.
