Profile

Richard Kneller joined the School of Economics in 2001 as a Research Fellow in the Centre for Globalisation and Economic Policy and became an Associate Professor in 2007. Before coming to Nottingham, he worked as a Senior Research Officer at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. He completed his Ph.D from the University of Nottingham in 1998 on fiscal policy and economic growth. His research interests include cross-country comparisons of productivity and economic growth as well as firm level adjustments to globalisation. His current work at the Centre includes the causes and consequences of exporting and FDI decisions at the firm level.
