PGR Internship Opportunity

The Learning Sciences Research Institute has been commissioned by the University to conduct research aimed at improving understanding of undergraduate student academic behavior in the information age and how this integrates with academic pedagogy.

We are pleased to offer an internship to current and recently graduated doctoral students in the School of Education. This intern will carry out desk research conducting a core library inquiry and gathering documentation. The work is expected to take 15 days (112.5 hours), to be worked during June and July 2016.

For this internship the School is offering funding at the rate of £105 per day, based on 7.5 hours at £14 per hour.

To apply, please submit a short letter of application and a one page CV to Professor Charles Crook no later than 13 June 2016. Your letter should clearly outline your interest in the internship and what you would hope to get out of undertaking it. For current PGR students, your application must include confirmation that you have your supervisors' support.

Please note that due to UK employment legislation, only students who are currently permitted to work in the UK may apply for this internship.
