Research Administrative Manager, Faculty of Social Sciences
Jane Coulson manages the School Research Office, the team responsible for supporting the School's research projects, other staff research activities and postgraduate research programmes. She has worked in HE administration since 1997 and worked in the School of Education at Nottingham since 2000.
Jane left school at 18 to work in industry, initially as a management trainee and later as an area administrator before working in local government finance. She returned to full-time education as a mature student and graduated from the University of York in 1997.
