Kieran Murphy is a member of theCentre for the Study of Mathematics Education .
Kieran joined the team in 2002, having been a teacher of mathematics for over thirty years, teaching in a variety of comprehensive schools in Hampshire, Surrey and Derbyshire. From 1988 Kieran was head of the mathematics and information technology faculty at one of our partnership schools and whilst he was there he formed close links with the Shell Centre, MARS Project and the CSME. He was seconded to the School of Education in 1996 and was external examiner for the mathematics PGCE course from 1998 to 2000.
