General Information
Accreditation of Prior (Experiential) Learning (APL and APEL)
Students with higher education credits from other institutions may be eligible to transfer them into their programme of study at Nottingham. You are required to provide evidence of your study (usually an official results transcript and details of module content). This is then assessed and may lead to an offer of a place with some credit exemption.
Students without formal qualifications but with suitable employment experience (experiential learning), may also be eligible for some credit exemption. This is assessed via scrutiny of a portfolio of evidence provided by the student. » more information on School of Education AP(E)L policy.
