Creating a blog on community
Tutorial overview Community is the University of Nottingham's own social networking site. It is free and open for any staff member to use - you can log in using your normal username and password. One of the features available on community is a blog, and here is a guide on how to do that. |

Possible benefits - Blogs allow you to let people know your opinions and invite comments and feedback. They are a good way to let people know your news as well as discuss topics you are interested in. |
Ideas on how to use this - Why not set up series of blogs around a particular topic, and see how your ideas develop as people give you feedback. |
Tutorial key
- Beginner
Easy to achieve, little or no techinical skill required. E.g. The ability to use MS office.

- Intermediate
Already using e-learning to support teaching and learning, for example you may already have a WebCT course.


- Experienced
Well versed in the use of e-learning technologies. E.g. The ability to create interactive content or use an image manipulation package.
