When you are a friend with another resident you can see if they are online and find them on the map. You can also bring up their profile easily by clicking the Communicate button at the bottom of the screen, meaning that you can quickly send them items or messages without using the search facilities. To add a friend, right click their avatar and choose Add Friend from the pie menu. Alternatively, if you can not see them, search under an avatar name in Edit > Search and click the Add Friend button on their profile. When you have requested friendship they will be sent a message and only when they accept it will their name appear on your friends list and your name will appear on their friends list. If another resident offers you friendship you will receive a message and can select whether to accept or decline it. |
