Follow these steps to transfer some L$ to a colleague or friend in Second Life:

1. Click the Communicate button on the lower left side of your screen
2. Select Contacts from the popup list to open a window showing a list of your friends
3. Find the resident you want to pay in the list and select their name
4. Click the Pay button on the right side of the window
5. Enter the amount to transfer in the text field and click Pay
