This tutorial explains how to sit down in Second Life.

You'll need the following software - Second Life

You'll need the following hardware - See the Second Life website for minimum requirements.

Right click the object (or area of ground) that you want to sit on and select Sit Here from the pie menu.

To stand up again click the Stand Up button that will have appeared at the bottom of the screen.

Some objects that you sit on may make you behave in an unusual way. This is because they have an animation in them that controls your avatar. By standing up the animation will stop.
