Where do I go from here if I want to use Second Life in teaching
Tutorial overview Use this guidance to find out what your next steps should be. |
The university's Web Campus in Second Life is open to everyone and you're welcome to use any of the areas provided here with your students. To reserve a particular area for a lesson or meeting contact the IS Learning Team. Explore other areas in Second Life and see if anyone else has created content that your students could find useful. You will find that residents are often keen to have new people visit their land and you might be able to come to agreements for your students to use their learning objects. If you are interested in building on the island or having ideas for new learning object and areas on the university's Web Campus, contact the IS Learning Team. We may be able to assist with your building, scripting and sculpting needs in Second Life. |
