Why am I having problems creating an avatar

Why can't I create an avatar? Have you already created an account with the e-mail address you are using? There is a limit enforced by Linden Labs (the company behind SL) on how many accounts can be created from one e-mail address. Try creating an account linked to a different address. Has anyone else created an account on the computer you are using? There is a limit on how many accounts can be created from one IP address. Try creating an account from one of the university computer rooms where the IP addresses have been given permission for multiple registrations. Still having problems? Check the Second Life website for any current issues affecting new registrations. Contact Second Life directly by submitting a ticket via their support pages. |

Already using e-learning to support teaching and learning, for example you may already have a WebCT course.
