CSETBuilding

Starting back in 2007, the Department of Architecture and Built Environment now participates fully at the University of Nottingham in Ningbo .

The Centre for Sustainable Energy Technologies (CSET ) carries out high quality research in renewable and sustainable technologies, building on the work already commenced at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment in Nottingham. CSET attracts funding from outside sources, runs training programmes and short courses and participates in network and public awareness activities.

In the CSET, several Masters courses are run, and there are research opportunities for PhD students in topics such as energy efficient technology, renewable energy technology, sustainable transport, low-energy high-rise buildings, low energy housing, hydrogen systems, etc.

  • BEng in Architectural Environmental Engineering;
  • MSc in Renewable Energy and Architecture;
  • MSc in Energy Conversion and Management;
  • MSc in Sustainable Building Technology;
  • PhD in Sustainable Energy/Building Technologies;
  • Short courses for professional training
