Chantelle Niblock is a Lecturer at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment at the University of Nottingham, where she leads the MArch Digital Architecture and Tectonics course, and is a member of the Architecture, Culture and Tectonics Research Group. Her research and teaching interests include the digitisation and interpretation of historical architecture, digital architectural theory, collaborative learning in architectural education, and the study of design behaviour. She completed her PhD (sponsored by AHRC) in 2012 at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow. Her current research includes the development of an interactive mobile app, with virtual reality and augmented reality features, which explores the use of 3D laser scan data and 3D modelling to create a digital archive of Lincoln Cathedral's architectural history. This research is sponsored by the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.
