Biography

Hetian Chi is now a PhD student in Professor Hao Liu's team. The current research is Biomass oxy-fuel combustion. In 2013, He achieved his Master degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering in the University of Nottingham. In 2014 He worked as a research assistant in the State Coal Laboratory of Coal Combustion, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China.

Research Summary

The current research is about biomass oxy-fuel combustion based on a fluidized bed and relative pollutants control.

Past Research

The past research include: Combined effects of Fenton peroxidation and CaO conditioning on sewage sludge pyrolysis and combustion; The absorption performance of sewage sludge gasification ash on H2S and SO2.

Future Research

In future research, low rank coal specifically Zhundong coal will be introduced to the current bench. Detailed evaluation will be conducted and the optimised proportioning will be analysed.
