Biography

Eng Hwa is an associate professor and director of studies at the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering. His research work at the university is focused on future energy systems using methods centering on systems thinking to investigate contemporary issues in energy technology and their interaction with society, the environment and policy. He spent a brief period at University College London's School of Energy and Resources in Adelaide, Australia as Senior Lecturer from mid 2014 - early 2016. Eng Hwa first joined UNMC in 2008 after completing his PhD at University College London, UK. He is a Chartered Engineer registered with Engineering Council (EC, UK), Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE, UK), and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA, UK).
