Not all universities are the same. Whilst you can read the prospectus and look at websites you can’t truly get a feel for a place without visiting.
Campus Tours
We’ve set aside a number of days when you and your family/friends can come and look around University Park campus. As part of these days we’ll give you a guided tour of all four engineering schools including our labs, lecture theatres and classrooms. There'll also be plenty of opportunities to ask questions about engineering opportunities here at Nottingham.
You may also like to book onto one of our general welcome talks or guided campus tours, however these are very popular so we would advise you to book early. If you prefer to look around campus on your own, we can provide you with a map with a suggested walking route to make sure you don't miss the highlights eg halls of residence, sports facilities and the Students Union. For those interested in the arts you’ll enjoy looking around our art galleries and visiting our new state-of-the-art theatre. There are plenty of cafés and bistros where you can pick up a snack or sit down and have a bite to eat.
Please note Campus Tours are not Open Days. Tour days are run on a much smaller scale with limited access to some buildings. They do however give you an excellent opportunity for an informal view of campus.
