Honorary Lecturer's success with BBC4 biopic

Billy Ivory

William Ivory's latest drama, Burton and Taylor, has received critical acclaim. The biopic, aired on Monday (22/07/13), revisits the period leading up to 1983 in which Liz Taylor and Richard Burton perform together for the last time, in Noel Coward's Private Lives.

William Ivory is a Nottingham-based writer and Honorary Lecturer in the School of English. His past work has included Made in Dagenham (2010), Common as Muck (1997) and he is currently working on a new TV drama, based in Nottingham, called Truckers.
