Postgraduate Open Days

Postgraduate Taught Open Evening (for offer holders only): Wednesday 28 March 2012

We are pleased to welcome you to The University of Nottingham for this offer holder event.

Programme of events:

4pm onwards  Arrival and registration

 (Reception, Trent Building, University Park Campus)

4.30pm  Welcome from Graduate School and event overview

5-7pm  Drinks and canapés available and informal networking with current postgraduate students

Accommodation Viewings

Our postgraduate halls of residence will be open for you to view on an ad-hoc basis between 4-8pm*. For further information regarding these halls, please visit their stand at the Support Services Fair.

*Please note: Melton Hall will only be available for viewing between 7-8pm. Broadgate Park will only be available for viewing between 4-6pm.

Visiting the School

You are welcome to come to Nottingham at any time (the School Office is open Monday to Friday) to have a look round both the School of English and our beautiful campus. Where possible we hope to be able to arrange for you to meet an academic member of staff or one of our student ambassadors to discuss the courses we offer and the wider Nottingham experience, though because of pressure on staff time please note that this cannot always be guaranteed. To this end, we would ask that you give us 7 to 10 days notice prior to any intended visit so that a mutually convenient time might be organised for you to get the best out of the day.

General University Open Days

If you are considering applying to The University of Nottingham you are welcome to come along to a general University Open Day.

The next Open Days are being held on:

• Saturday 15 September 2012

These days will enable you to meet current students and members of staff and get a taste for what life is like as an English student at the University of Nottingham. You may well find this information helpful whether you end up studying English at Nottingham or elsewhere.
