Solubility of Cd and Zn in soils

Many authors agree that soil solution activity of an ion is better indicator of its potential for plant uptake than total soil concentration.

We believe that rather simple solubility algorithms can be used to predict soil solution activity for many metals using just a few readily derived soil characteristics.
