The project gave a brief presentation on the approach to modelling business processes used as part of the JISC-CETIS conference at Aston Business School. View the presentation here.
November 2007
Following discussions with the HILDA High-Level Domain Map project for JISC run by Tom Franklin, we are experimenting with use of the Protege tool to generate outputs which can be shared with admissions practitioners. An initial mapping has been put together and we expect to share this at the JISC-CETIS conference later in the month.

The project interim report March-September 2007 has been submitted to JISC.

A meeting of the Centre Advisory Board was held at the University of Nottingham.
17 May 2007
The project team took part in a joint JISC eAdmissions projects meeting held at the University of Wolverhampton. Other participants included the PortisHEad project and the three scoping studies commissioned by JISC.

The Project Manager gave a presentation on this and the partner DELIA projects to a meeting of the JISC-CETIS Enterprise SIG held at the University of Nottingham. View the presentation here.

The Project Manager, Project Director and Alan Paull held meetings with UCAS to discuss timelines and levels of commitment for the project with Jill Johnson. They were also able to meet Janet Graham from SPA to talk about the Delivery Partnership programme for reforming admissions to higher education, which will have an impact on the outcomes of this project.

The Project Manager met Fiona Waye of UUK at the SSAT conference at Aston Business School. Following further contact, Fiona is now keeping the project in touch with the work of the Delivery Partnership for reforming admissions to higher education.
5 March 2007
An initial project meeting was held at Manchester Metropolitan University to discuss the scope of the project with staff from the institution and identify key staff who will need to be involved in the work. The proposed suggested timeline of events will form the basis for the project plan to be submitted to JISC.
