Nottingham Trent University and The University of Nottingham are working with employers, giving postgraduates the chance to complete a variety of work-based projects. The CIePD produced a placements portal integrated with both Universities to enable them to manage the placements process.

Closer-Than-You-Think.org

An interactive tool developed inconjunction with the Summit Skills Sector Skills Council to enable Builders, Plumbers and Engineers to see how close they are to NVQ Level 2 and toward a Foundation Degree.

What We Do

The Centre has excellent working relationhips with a wide range of partners including education, employers and strategists. We have infrastructure and technology in place for developing user-focussed policy driven technical developments. We understand how introducing new technology in specific ways can instigate change. All of these support government policy and the efficiency agenda. Our team possesses members with expertise in managing and delivering complex and wide ranging projects centering around new technological models for education, business and individuals, managing the relationships through standards based interoperability and distributed systems.
