Midlands Graduate School

The Midlands Graduate School is a collaborative venture between the universities of Nottingham, Birmingham, and Warwick, and their respective ESRC Doctoral Training Centres (DTCs).

Its aim is to provide dedicated facilities, resources and support to postgraduate students and early career researchers.

Doctoral Events Grants

The Birmingham Nottingham and Warwick ESRC DTCs, working together as the Midlands Graduate School (MGS) are pleased to announce a competition for grants to support the organisation of Doctoral Events.

Each Grant will consist of a budget of up to £5000 to organise aninterdisciplinary postgraduate conference or event. The conferences are to be held at any of the three universities during the academic year 2015-2016 or 2016-17, and are to be designed to include participants from at least two, and preferably all three, of the MGS partners.
